Exclusive Helping Hands Pre-K
We are happy to announce that we at Helping Hands Childcare Center has developed a new program to compete with the state funded Universal Pre-K. This occurred as we temporarily partnered with the Board of Ed’s Pre-K program from August 2023 to June 2024. In doing so, we as a private provider came to realization that our vision and goals were not on the same path with the public sector’s goals.
From the beginning, our core values is to provide an honest / high quality / affordable childcare services that prioritizes on a safe and healthy environment where each child is encouraged to learn without boundaries while creating joyful memories. We understand that the district needs to follow many state requirements, but those requirements solidified our intent to stay on track with our core values as a private provider with the flexibility of what we can do with our curriculum and classroom environment.
In this new environment we intend to create one Exclusive Pre-K classroom which is around 22 students or less that will offer a highly discounted weekly tuition but offer high quality pre-k program. The heavily discounted weekly tuition will be comparable to what a working family might need to pay for the wrap around private services (before-care and/or after-care) that the district's UPK schedule might not cover (please check with your local district). The discount provided is a percentage scale deducted off the base tuition and coincides with how long each client has been enrolled with us. In totality, the longer a client is enrolled with us, the higher the discount rate will be when that child turns the age of 3 (can be as high as 40% to the regular full time Pre-K weekly rate!). Please note the Exclusive HH Pre-K is only for full time enrollment. Drop off must be before 9:00am, and pickup can be at anytime between 3:30pm to 5:30pm.
Currently the tuition can be as low as $195 per week! The weekly tuition can move slightly higher as the discount rate can vary to how long you've been enrolled with us (please see discount rate chart on the pics below).
The Exclusive HH Pre-K will be held at the same time-line as public school’s annual calendar. Our school year starts in September, ends in middle of June, and a summer schedule is accounted for differently. To be specific, those who gets accepted in our Exclusive HH Pre-K, will have the deeply discounted tuition from September to middle of June, but will pay regular tuition during the summer schedule.
For a limited time if you enroll in July and August of 2024 - as we try to fill up this classroom this year, we will accept a few more families that will be eligible for the highly discounted tuition of $195 per week!

1) A curriculum that is not tied to certain limitations. The public schools are binded to apply a fair rule that if they do one specific thing in one school, they need to apply it to all, so its hard for them to make small modifications. However, in Helping Hands, we are not shy in adjusting as promptly as possible to give our students the best learning environment. An example is the music special we currently offer for the Pre-K level that the district are not able to.
2) Specials will be offered tendered by 3rd party vendors. Currently, we will include a weekly music special and an every other week Physical Education Program (can be subject to change)
3) We will not have as much days off as the district. This is advantageous to most working parents as the district will often need to close during winter break, spring break, the many half days they often enforce.
